The US Air Force intends to sole-source a contract for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) testing services on the Common Aircraft Portable Reprogramming Equipment (CAPRE) Network Interface Module (NIM). The selected vendor will perform a full EMI test on a production-representative NIM unit to certify the final production design for fielding. The contract is restricted to a single vendor, Engineered Test Systems (ETS), due to their unique capabilities and specialized experience.
• The vendor must have prior experience with EMI testing on the NIM design.
• The vendor must be able to replicate the exact test equipment setup and methodology used in the initial testing.
• The vendor must be able to complete the testing within the required timeframe, which is Q3 FY26.
