Description
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs is seeking one or more qualified lawyers or law firms to produce loan documents for various single family acquisition programs and to prepare necessary documentation. The selected counsel will be required to conduct conflicts analyses and disclose any actual or potential conflicts to the agency and the Office of the Attorney General. Key responsibilities include preparing loan documents, releases of lien, and other necessary documentation. The scope of work includes providing legal services for the Department's single family residential home acquisition transactions.
• Preparation of loan documents for NSP, HOME, HTF, and Owner-Builder Program single family acquisition loans
• Preparation of releases of lien upon request
• Conducting conflicts analyses and disclosing any actual or potential conflicts
• Providing legal services for the Department's single family residential home acquisition transactions
