Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Accounting and General Services, is seeking a contractor to provide testing, inspection, and maintenance services for portable fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and fire hose cabinets at various state facilities on the island of Oahu. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew. The contractor will be responsible for performing annual inspections and maintenance of fire extinguishers and fire hose cabinets, as well as providing loaner fire extinguishers when necessary. The contractor will also be required to submit a proposed schedule of work and provide maintenance forms and worksheets as needed.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations, including those related to safety and security.
• The contractor must provide proof of compliance with state and federal statutes.
• The contractor must include all applicable taxes in the price submitted.
• The contractor must pay a transaction fee of 0.75% of the award, not to exceed $5,000.
