GEOTECHNICAL, GEOLOGICAL AND CONSTRUCTION QA/QC SERVICES

The County of Riverside is seeking proposals from competent parties qualified in providing Geological, Geotechnical, and Construction Quality Assurance and Quality Control services for the Phase 2, Stage 2 Liner Expansion Project at the Badlands Sanitary Landfill. The project involves expanding the disposal area by approximately 23 acres, constructing two earthen stockpiles, and performing geotechnical and geological services. The scope of work includes static and seismic stability analysis, geologic observation and mapping, and construction QA/QC services. The project is expected to start in March or April 2027 and will require a comprehensive design report and a construction QA/QC plan. Key aspects of the project include: • Geotechnical services for the liner subgrade and waste mass fill plan • Geological services for the slope areas within the proposed grading limits • Construction QA/QC services for the earthwork, liner installation, and reinforced concrete structures • Compliance with the California Labor Code and prevailing wage requirements The County reserves the right to award services to different consultants or as one contract to a single consultant.
