Pontoon Boat – RFP

The City of Conway, South Carolina, is soliciting sealed bids/proposals for the purchase of one aluminum pontoon boat with electric propulsion and trailer. The boat must meet specific requirements, including: * Mercury Avator 35E XL engine or equivalent * Aluminum prop tilt and trim system * 2 Mercury Avator 48V 2.3 KWH batteries or equivalent * 22-foot maximum length, 2-tube design, and 9-person capacity * Black exterior and dark grey interior * Tilt steering wheel, storage under lounges, and in-floor storage for propulsion batteries * Galvanized single-axle bunk-support style trailer with hydraulic brakes The proposal must include: * Detailed specifications * Price and total price with tax * Anticipated delivery time * Dealer salesperson's phone number and email * Add-on options, such as additional batteries or a radio/speaker package The proposal must be submitted by December 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm EST, and must be good for 90 days. The City of Conway reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The project is funded by the South Carolina Energy Office Mini-Grant and Santee Cooper EVolve grant programs, and is subject to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Special Terms and Conditions. The proposal must comply with federal, state, and municipal laws, and the City of Conway may waive any information and technicalities in bidding.
