Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a sole‑source supplier, Mirion Technologies, to provide two portable tritium air monitors and associated accessories for the Center for Neutron Research. The equipment must detect low‑level airborne tritium in real time, log data, and provide audible/visual alarms. The award will include training, one‑year maintenance, and a one‑year extended warranty, with delivery on FOB destination terms.
• Quantity: 2 portable tritium monitors with 600 cc ionization chambers
• Required peripherals: external alarm beacons (4), transport cases (2), shoulder straps (2), silicone hoses of various lengths (2 each)
• Additional services: on‑site training, 1‑year annual maintenance, 1‑year extended warranty
• Technical specs: sensitivity ≥30 kBq/m³, gamma‑compensation, touchscreen interface, data logging, ≤6 kg weight, 24 V power supply
• Delivery: FOB destination (or equivalent INCOTERMS)
