Library Aquarium Maintenance

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a qualified aquarium maintenance company to maintain and service the 3,600-gallon saltwater aquarium at the Grant R. Brimhall Library. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing high-quality aquarium maintenance and careful attention to the fish and the aquatic environment. The scope of work includes regular maintenance, cleaning, care, and feeding of the fish, as well as emergency care for the fish and the tank. The contractor will also be required to provide a plan for natural disaster emergency response and replacement of any sick or dead fish. • Regular maintenance and cleaning of the aquarium • Feeding and care of the fish • Emergency care for the fish and the tank • Plan for natural disaster emergency response • Replacement of any sick or dead fish • Provision of quarantine facilities for new fish • Weekly on-site maintenance and monitoring of water quality
