Description
The Washington State Investment Board (WSIB) is seeking to contract with firms to create a pre-qualified pool of consultants to provide governance, risk, and compliance consulting services on an as-needed project basis. The scope of work includes providing expert advice and guidance to WSIB staff and Board members in areas such as public investment board governance, enterprise risk management, and compliance. The selected contractors will be expected to provide services for a period of 5 years, with an option to extend for an additional 5 years.
Key services that may be requested include:
• Providing guidance on pension fund governance best practices
• Reviewing and updating Board and Committee charters and policies
• Conducting education sessions on key industry trends and updates
• Identifying and mitigating risks
• Providing compliance consulting services
• Performing gap analyses and effectiveness testing of existing compliance activities
