Condition Assessment of Water Treatment Facility

The City of Hickory is seeking a qualified firm to perform a condition assessment of the existing 2MG and 1MG clearwells at the Water Treatment Facility. The selected firm will be responsible for developing design documents for bidding for structural rehabilitation/repairs, including surface preparation and application of required coatings. The firm should have experience in providing similar services, particularly in the water treatment industry. The scope of work includes evaluating the coagulation and filtration processes, providing a technical approach, project management approach, budget and schedule control, quality management, and innovation. • The firm should have a strong reputation and experience in providing professional engineering services, particularly in the water treatment industry. • The firm should have a team with the necessary qualifications, experience, and expertise to perform the required services. • The firm should have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • The firm should be able to demonstrate its ability to work with the City and other stakeholders to deliver the project. • The firm should be able to provide innovative solutions and approaches to the project.
