Elevator Maintenance Services

The Department of Public Safety is seeking a contract for elevator maintenance and repair services at two locations: Austin Headquarters and Florence Training Center. The contractor must provide all labor necessary to perform services, including preventive maintenance, minor adjustments, answering trouble calls, retrieval of objects from elevator pits, and minor and major repairs. The contract term is 5 years, with an option for a 6-month extension. The contractor must also provide a transition plan in the event of a contract change. • The contractor must have experience in providing elevator maintenance and repair services. • The contractor must provide a detailed pricing schedule. • The contractor must have a good faith effort to comply with all state HUB requirements. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonds as required. • The contractor must have a business continuity and disaster recovery plan in place. • The contractor must provide a statement of work and a project schedule. • The contractor must have a plan for protecting DPS's vital state records throughout the life of the contract.
