Shared Micromobility

The City of Fort Collins and Colorado State University are seeking a service provider to develop, install, own, operate, and maintain a shared micromobility system. The system should incorporate state-of-the-art information technology and provide shared micromobility vehicles as a transportation choice. The selected service provider will be responsible for managing all activities necessary to implement and operate the system. The city and university are looking for a service provider that can demonstrate experience with similar-sized entities, a positive relationship with the city and university, and the ability to provide reliable and efficient service. Some key aspects of the proposal include: • Reducing emissions and single-occupant-vehicle trips through mode shift • Providing access for people with low income and people with disabilities • Collaborating with the city, university, and community • Ensuring safety and app functionality • Maintaining program continuity and uptime • Providing 24-hour customer support • Minimizing environmental impacts of program operations • Partnering with other community organizations • Ensuring vehicles are parked according to city ordinance and university policies • Providing data reporting and metrics on a monthly or more frequent basis
