Gee Creek Loop

The City of Ridgefield is seeking bids from highly qualified contractors to provide all labor, supplies, equipment, and materials for the improvement of Gee Creek Loop with roadway reconstruction, including a pair of RRFBs, lighting, curb ramps, stormwater system improvements, water main and water service realignment, and other work. The project is financed through the Community Development Block Grant Program with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The contract will be subject to regulations of the Departments of Labor and Housing and Urban Development. The selected contractor must have an active registered account with the System for Award Management (SAM) through SAM.gov and cannot be debarred from bidding or working on public works projects. • The project includes roadway reconstruction, lighting, curb ramps, stormwater system improvements, and water main and water service realignment. • The contract will be subject to federal prevailing wage requirements. • The contractor must comply with the requirements of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, but this project is exempt due to funds being used from the grantee's Program Year 2021 grant. • The contractor must have a current state unified business identifier number and comply with all relevant federal, state, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations.
