The solicitation seeks a supplier to design, fabricate, deliver, install, and test a low‑temperature scanning probe microscope (LT‑SPM) that includes LT‑STM and qPlus‑AFM capabilities for integration into Brookhaven National Laboratory’s ultra‑high‑vacuum multiprobe surface‑analysis system. The contractor must provide the complete instrument, associated cryogenic and magnetic assemblies, custom vacuum chamber, cabling, and on‑site installation, and must perform joint performance testing with BNL staff.
