REBID On-Demand Roof Repairs

The County of Ontario is seeking bids for on-demand roof repairs for various county buildings. The contract will be awarded to a primary and secondary vendor, with the primary vendor being the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all criteria and offering the lowest billable percentage above prevailing wage. The secondary vendor will be the next lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The contract term will be for 12 months, with the option to renew for up to two additional 12-month periods. The vendor will be responsible for providing roof repairs, including metal, asphalt shingle, EPDM, and other roof types, as needed. Key points to consider: • The vendor must bid a billable percentage above the prevailing wage rate as published by the NYS Department of Labor. • The vendor must provide a written quote with a breakdown of labor, materials, and equipment costs for each project. • The vendor must be available to perform emergency repairs within 72 hours of the initial call. • The vendor must remove all debris and clean up the job site prior to the final inspection. • The County will not pay for travel or any other expenses above or beyond those indicated in the Short Form Contract submitted for each project.
