Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential sources for Ligature-Resistant Behavioral Health Doors for the VA Northern Indiana Health Care Systems – Marion Campus. The requirement is for 28 new doors with specific salient characteristics, including ligature-resistant design, breakaway hinges, and magnetic closure. The contractor shall be responsible for taking and applying accurate field measurements and providing documentation of technical expertise.
• The doors must be manufactured in the USA and meet specific standards, including NFPA-286 and ASTM E84 Class A Fire Certification.
