Blood Products & Testing Services

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (MRCO-W) is requesting information and conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing blood products and testing services to William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Fort Bliss, TX. The contractor must be certified by either American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) or College of American Pathologists (CAP) and shall follow all regulatory standards of AABB and FDA for the manufacture and distribution of blood products. The contractor will provide courier service for product delivery in validated transport containers, with orders filled within 1, 4, or 24 hours of original request, according to priority assigned by WBAMC. Key points to consider: • The contractor must provide access to blood centers across the United States to ensure availability of product. • The contractor must be certified by either AABB or CAP accrediting agencies and follow all regulatory standards of AABB and FDA for the manufacture and distribution of blood products. • The contractor will provide courier service for product delivery in validated transport containers. • The period of performance is a base period from 01 April 2026 – 31 March 2027, and four 12-month option periods until 31 March 2031. • The contractor must provide 24/7 phone support for all inquiries and ordering.
