Description
The U.S. Embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe is seeking a contractor to provide preventive maintenance services for the domestic water treatment plant. The contract will be for a one-year period with three one-year options. The contractor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive drinking water elemental analysis, supplying and installing AFM and GAC media, conducting complete equipment performance tests, and providing reports with recommendations for improvement. The contractor must also provide good chemicals with a storage life expectancy of at least one year and establish minimum and maximum control ranges for each treatment chemical.
• The contractor will conduct a comprehensive drinking water elemental analysis for various elements.
• The contractor will supply and install AFM and GAC media for the filter frames.
• The contractor will conduct complete equipment performance tests and provide reports with recommendations.
• The contractor will provide good chemicals with a storage life expectancy of at least one year.
