Railcar Spanners, 80 Each, Aluminum Required in support of the Army Power Projection Platform, Campbell Rail Operations Facility Fort Campbell, KY

The US Army is seeking quotations for 80 aluminum railcar spanners to support the Army Power Projection Platform at the Campbell Rail Operations Facility in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The railcar spanners must be capable of spanning between railcars, allowing the loading of self-propelled vehicles, towed trailers, and other rolling stock onto railcars. The spanners must be compatible with all military and commercial railcars and have an axle weight capacity of 40,000 lbs. maximum single axle. The specifications also include dimensional data, stub toe, kicker plate, and safety statement requirements.
