Description
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking a contractor to provide installation and maintenance services for potable water filtration systems. The contract will have an initial term of 5 years with the option for up to 5 additional years. The contractor will be responsible for providing labor, filtration systems, and filter maintenance to provide safe drinking water for potable well owners in Florida impacted by contamination exceeding health advisory levels.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing installation and maintenance services for potable water filtration systems
• Ensuring the provision of safe, potable water to well owners
• Meeting the requirements of the Water Supply Restoration Funding Program
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Providing a fixed unit price per line-item for the initial contract term and renewal contract term prices
• Requesting price increases following the initial year of the contract and annually thereafter, with substantiation and approval by the Department
