Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is providing notice of its intent to award a sole source contract for the replacement of Scanlan Operating Room (OR) Instruments, including forceps and micro scissors, to be used during cardio surgeries at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) VAMC Cardiology Services. The contract is expected to be awarded under the authority of FAR Overhaul 12.102(a) for acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT). The period of performance is from 01/30/2026 through 05/30/2026.
• The required products include SCANLAN Cushing Forceps, Premier Jacobson Micro Scissors, Jacobson Heavy Style Needle Holder, and Thoracoscopic Chitwood Mini Knot Pusher.
• The contractor must provide the products to the place of performance listed on the cover page of this notice.
• Interested parties may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, and must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
• The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities.
