Intent to Single Source- GameTime

The City of Tampa intends to single-source the purchase of replacement parts and/or components for GameTime park and playground equipment. GameTime is the sole manufacturer for GameTime play unit parts and components, and Dominica Recreation Products is a "sole source" supplier for the state of Florida. The prospective bidder must be an authorized manufacturer's distributor or dealer who can quote the product and also provide warranty service, maintenance, or repairs if requested. The City requires various insurance coverages, including Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, Worker's Compensation, and Excess Liability Insurance. Some key points to consider: • The City requires the bidder to provide documentation that they are an authorized vendor for the product/service. • The bidder must maintain insurance coverages as specified in the document. • The City has the right to terminate the agreement if the bidder does not maintain the required insurance coverages. • The bidder must provide a certificate of insurance and endorsements prior to beginning work or services. • The City requires additional coverages, such as Builder's Risk Insurance, Installation Floater, and Architects & Engineers Liability/Professional Liability, on a case-by-case basis.
