Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the replacement of outboard motors, motor controls, and motor monitoring on a law enforcement vessel. The project requires the installation of two new Mercury 250 horsepower outboard motors, a Mercury Vessel View System, and dual Mercury DTS motor controls. The work must be completed by a Mercury Certified Technician and overseen by the Division of Wildlife. The vessel will be transported to and from the awarded vendor's location, up to 120 driving miles from Fairport, OH. A sea trial on Ohio waters of Lake Erie will be conducted prior to acceptance of the completed work.
• The project includes the installation of new outboard motors and rigging on a 2011 26' Boston Whaler Justice Center Console boat.
• The vendor must provide a comprehensive materials list, including anticipated components and labor.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The project must be completed before May 1, 2026.
• A site visit is mandatory for all bidders to become familiar with the facility and requirements of the bid.
