Workday Consulting Services for City of San Mateo - 2026

The City of San Mateo is seeking a consultant to provide Workday consulting services on a time and materials basis. The selected consultant will be responsible for assisting the City with troubleshooting complex issues and implementing new features within Workday. The scope of work may include meeting with City staff, monitoring requests for assistance, troubleshooting complex issues, implementing changes to Workday, and providing documentation and training to City staff. The City is looking for a consultant with expertise in Workday, particularly in the areas of payroll, absence, time tracking, and benefits. • The consultant will be expected to work remotely and communicate with City staff through written communications and virtual meetings. • The consultant will be required to provide a detailed proposal outlining their approach, experience, and qualifications for the project. • The City reserves the right to cancel the RFP or reject any and all responses and/or submittals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicalities or minor informalities if it determines, in its sole discretion, that such cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the City.
