Car Washing Service (Express, Full Service, Detail)

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified vendor to provide car washing services for its police department, fire department, and other city departments. The selected vendor will be required to provide washing and general cleaning services for approximately 3,000 vehicles per year. The vendor must have a brick and mortar established car wash location and be able to provide services such as express, full service, and detail washing. The city is looking for a vendor that can provide a robust solution that meets their needs and is seeking a long-term partnership. Key features of the contract include: • The vendor must have a physical business location within the jurisdictional limits of Lakeland Electric’s service territory • The vendor must conduct business on a daily basis from the local business location • The vendor must have conducted business from such location for at least twelve consecutive months prior to the due date for the applicable bid or proposal • The vendor must provide a copy of its local business tax receipt, if located within the City of Lakeland, or a copy of its Polk County local business tax receipt, if located outside of the City limits but within Lakeland Electric’s service territory • The vendor must provide proof of insurance and meet the city’s safety requirements • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to safety and health
