The County of Kern is seeking to make an award in accordance with the attached bid requirements and specifications for new and unused most current model year vehicle. Interested bidders shall review, print, and return completed specifications with bid response. The vehicles should be full-size 4-door sedans with a 2.4L inline V4 engine, automatic 6-speed shiftable transmission, and other specified features. • The vehicle should have a wheelbase of 112” minimum - 121" maximum, 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and tilt steering. • The vehicle should have a standard factory installed battery, engine cooling system with recovery system, and 4 radial tires to match GVW. • The vehicle should have standard factory installed air conditioning, factory installed AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth, and tinted glass. • The vehicle should have power windows, power door locks with key FOBs, dual remote/power mirrors, and a license plate bracket - front. • The vehicle should have cloth seats, carpet flooring, carpet floor mats, and a next generation driver and front-passenger air bag.
