Description
The California Energy Commission (CEC) is seeking qualified technical consultants to provide on‑demand scenario modeling and analysis for California’s natural‑gas system. The work includes clean‑fuel (hydrogen, RNG) scenario modeling, fossil‑gas pipeline de‑commissioning studies, gas supply and demand forecasting, rate and revenue‑requirement modeling, hydraulic modeling, and related technical deliverables. Work will be performed under individual Work Authorizations (WAs) and billed on a time‑and‑materials basis, with a total ceiling of $600,000 (up to $300,000 per year for two fiscal years).
• Scope: Technical modeling, analysis, and reporting on natural‑gas infrastructure and low‑carbon‑fuel alternatives.
• Delivery: Monthly progress reports, invoices, and task‑specific deliverables as defined in each WA.
• Requirements: Ability to perform advanced scenario modeling, provide high‑quality reports/dashboards, comply with DVBE, small‑business, and civil‑rights certifications, and manage subcontractors if used.
