Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide unarmed, uniformed security guard services (including an in‑house supervisor) at six VA locations in Illinois and Indiana (Jesse Brown VAMC, Auburn Gresham, Lakeside, Chicago Heights, Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery Center, and Adam Benjamin Jr. Outpatient Clinic). The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price RFQ with a base period of performance from 02/01/2027 to 01/31/2028 (12 months) and four optional one‑year extensions. Services include 24/7 coverage at the main medical center, weekday coverage at satellite clinics, and supervision/quality‑control duties. The award will be based on price, technical capability, and past performance. The total ceiling value is approximately $29 million.
