Description
The Town of Bethel is accepting proposals for work to be done on Watershed Road and Findley Bridge/North Main. This is part of a grant program to bring hydrologically connected road segments into compliance under the State’s Municipal Roads General Permit. The project includes ditching, culvert installation, and other related work. The chosen contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the project.
• Ditching: Excavate ditches to drain the road base and handle an expected runoff depth of 1.5’ – 2’ deep.
• Culvert Installation: Install new culverts and stone line the ditches.
• Other related work: Complete the job with seed and mulch or hydroseeding any remaining exposed disturbed soils.
The project must be completed by September 10, 2026. A mandatory site visit will be held on May 5, 2026, at 10 am. Proposals must be submitted by May 18, 2026, at 3 pm.
