The County of San Luis Obispo is seeking a qualified vendor to design, supply, install, configure, test, and support a next‑generation firewall platform that replaces its aging infrastructure. The effort includes requirements discovery, high‑availability architecture, hardware/software acquisition, rule/NAT/VPN migration, fail‑over testing, production cut‑over, hyper‑care, administrator training, and comprehensive as‑built documentation. The contract is for a two‑year term with three optional one‑year renewals, and the vendor must provide 24×7 support, remote training, and ongoing maintenance. The solution must support at least 10 Gbps throughput, high‑availability clustering across two data centers, virtual firewall instances in Azure, and a path toward Zero Trust Network Access.
