Description
The Lowell Area Schools is seeking bids for the Murray Lake Elementary Roof Replacement project. The project requires a reputable organization with at least five years of successful experience in work of this type and scope. The bidder must have a license where required by public authorities and have ample financial resources for work of this magnitude. The bid security must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to secure performance, labor, and material bonds for all contracts exceeding $50,000.
• The bid documents may be examined at the Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. website or at the Builders Exchange plan rooms in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Traverse City.
• A construction pre-bid meeting will be held at Murray Lake Elementary on Wednesday, March 18th, at 3:00 pm local time.
• Bids must be submitted in triplicate and received by Monday, March 23, at 2:00 pm local time.
• The bid opening will be held publicly at O-A-K's Operations Center, and bidders may attend in person or watch online via Zoom.
