CONTAMINATED GASOLINE RECYCLING, TERM CONTRACT

The Baltimore County, Maryland, Purchasing Division is seeking bids for a term contract to provide contaminated gasoline recycling services. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The successful bidder will be required to provide accurate measurement of the gallons of product collected for each pickup, and to transport the contaminated gasoline in a vehicle capable of and certified for hazardous waste hauling. The bidder must also provide a Certificate of Recycling and the name, address, and US EPA ID numbers of the recycling facility used for each shipment picked up. • The contract will be for the recycling of contaminated gasoline from various locations, including the Eastern Sanitary Landfill, Central Acceptance Facility, and Western Acceptance Facility. • The successful bidder will be required to pick up the contaminated gasoline promptly, and to transport it to a recycling facility. • The contract will include provisions for testing and analysis of the contaminated gasoline, as well as for the disposal of any hazardous materials. • The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and public health.
