Description
The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) is seeking proposals from law firms to provide bond counsel services in connection with its rental housing financings. The selected law firm will be responsible for providing specialized services relating to the structuring and issuance of taxable or tax-exempt debt. The law firm must possess expertise in all aspects of rental housing bond financing, real estate, federal housing programs, and security and tax compliance issues. The contract will be for a term of five years, and the law firm must agree to meet the SDB/VBE participation goal of 23%.
• The law firm must have experience in bond financing, federal housing programs, and tax compliance issues.
• The law firm must have a strong understanding of the rental housing market and the needs of PHFA.
• The law firm must be able to provide creative and effective solutions to meet the requirements of the RFP.
• The law firm must be able to work well with PHFA and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.
