LAW LIBRARY ASSISTANCE

The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services/Maryland Correctional Enterprises (DPSCS/MCE) is soliciting bids to procure Library Assistance to State Libraries (LASI). The contractor will provide subscriptions to up-date legal reference library databases containing Maryland State law and/or Federal law. The databases will be distributed to 43 service points in various institutions. The contractor must provide technical assistance and support, as well as training for library staff. The contract term is two years with three single-year renewal options. • The contractor must provide comprehensive legal databases that meet the federal mandate of access to the courts. • The databases must be distributed to 43 service points in various institutions. • The contractor must provide technical assistance and support, as well as training for library staff. • The contract term is two years with three single-year renewal options. • The contractor must comply with all federal, State, and local laws applicable to its activities and obligations under the Contract.
