The City of Salina, Kansas, is seeking an engineering consulting firm to replace three deteriorated 28‑in × 40‑in corrugated metal pipe culverts on Fairdale Road. The scope includes hydraulic analyses, design of new culverts, coordination of easement acquisition, utility relocations, and support through bid preparation and construction phases. The consultant must deliver a complete design package, easement documentation, and assistance with bidding, all while adhering to a tight schedule that targets project completion by late 2027.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic studies and update the 2008 drainage study.
• Develop construction‑ready plans, specifications, and calculations for new culverts.
• Manage easement acquisition (temporary and permanent) and coordinate utility relocations.
• Provide bid‑support services, including design‑build assistance and construction‑phase oversight.
• Deliver all design documents by early April 2027 and support construction bidding by May 2027.
