* Eligible applicants include state or local government agencies, interstate agencies, Indian tribal governments, non-profit organizations, and institutions of higher education.
* The program will provide funding for projects that support Statewide K-12 Environmental Literacy Capacity Building, with a focus on building capacity within organizations and networks that work at the state- or multi-state level to support hands-on environmental education for students and related professional development for teachers, administrators, and other educators.
* Applications should include a project summary, project description, sustainability plan, and outreach and education plan.
* The program will support projects that are led by or collaborate with community organizations and institutions that represent underserved communities, with a focus on increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in environmental literacy efforts.
