J065--Notice of Intent Canon Medical Service Agreement for the Canon PRIME-SERIES-S/3.000-Computed Tomography System NAC contract #SPE2D1-17-D-0022

The Alexandria VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide preventive maintenance and full repair services for a Canon PRIME-SERIES-S/3.000 CT scanner. The contract will include a one-year task order and will require the contractor to provide updates to manufacturer software, firmware, and hardware as needed. The contractor will also be required to provide a field service report after each service and guarantee at least a 98 percent uptime. The equipment to be serviced includes a PRIME-SERIES-S/3.000 Aquillion Prime CT Scanner and an Optivantage Dual Head CT Contrast delivery System. • The contractor must be authorized by Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. to have access to current Canon system software, parts, and technical support. • The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, lodging, and supervision necessary to provide scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled repair services. • The contractor must comply with VA policies and procedures for information security and privacy. • The contractor must provide a software bill of materials (SBOM) for procured products and ensure that all software and patches are free of viruses and malware.
