Description
The United States Coast Guard requires services to perform tank and bilge cleaning on USCG Vessels. The Government anticipates awarding one Requirements contract, with fixed price delivery orders, for one (1) 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods as a result of this solicitation. Services shall take place at the U.S. Coast Guard Yard, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226.
• The contract will be for a total of 5 years, with a base year and 4 option years.
• The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental and safety concerns.
• The contractor will be required to provide a spill response plan and a fall protection plan.
• The contractor will be required to have a competent person to perform gas free testing for all tanks prior to workers entering tanks.
