Description
The Chippewa Hills School District is seeking bids for the Remus School Abatement & Demolition Project. The project involves the abatement and demolition of the former Mosaic School located at 350 E Wheatland Ave, Remus, Michigan. A pre-bid site inspection meeting will be held on June 4, 2026, to allow bidders to become familiar with the site conditions. Bids will be received until June 18, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the due date and time.
• The project requires a bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid amount.
• The bid security may be in the form of a bid bond, cashier’s check, or money order payable to Chippewa Hills School District.
• All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the board, intermediate school board, or board of directors or the superintendent of the school district, or chief executive officer or the public school academy.
• All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
