Description
The City of Saco is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the sludge discharge pipe on its 75‑foot secondary clarifier, including removal and re‑assembly of the clarifier components, procurement and installation of a new Ovivo‑manufactured pipe and associated couplings, surface preparation, epoxy coating, and replacement of hardware with stainless‑steel components. The contractor must also provide a portable toilet for the site, power‑wash the work area, and perform cleanup. The work must be completed within a four‑week period after contract start.
• Supply and install new sludge discharge pipe (Ovivo) and coupling, pre‑painted with Tnemec epoxy.
• Disassemble, clean, and re‑assemble all clarifier elements (walkway, cages, feedwell, draft tubes, skimmer, etc.).
• Replace removed hardware with new SS304 parts, repaint disturbed areas, and ensure final site cleanup.
