The U.S. Air Force at Volk Field is seeking a single, skid‑mounted liquid de‑icing system that will be installed in a standard dump‑truck bed to support winter runway and taxiway operations. The contractor must design, fabricate, deliver, install, and provide on‑site training for a stainless‑steel system with a minimum 900‑gallon tank, anti‑slosh baffling, spray boom capable of 30‑ft width coverage, power plant, and full control electronics. The system must meet detailed dimensional, weight, and durability requirements, and include a one‑year warranty and complete manuals.
