RFP 2026-03 BEFORE AND AFTER CARE PROGRAM SERVICES

The South Brunswick Board of Education is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to operate a comprehensive before‑ and after‑school care program for kindergarten through 5th‑grade students (with optional middle‑school expansion). The vendor must provide academic support, enrichment activities, and full‑time childcare supervision, maintain NJ‑mandated staffing ratios, obtain all required licenses, and carry extensive insurance. The program will be funded by parent tuition, and the vendor will remit a monthly Facilities‑Use/ District‑Partnership fee to the district. The contract runs July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 with up to two one‑year renewal options. • Deliver before‑school, after‑school, half‑day, and optional PTA‑event childcare services. • Provide homework assistance, arts, music, STEM, recreation, and other enrichment activities. • Meet NJ licensing, staffing, background‑check, ADA, anti‑bullying, affirmative‑action, and Chapter 271 political‑contribution requirements. • Submit a competitive monthly facilities‑use fee and detailed tuition/fee schedule. • Supply 10 % bid bond (max $20 k) and comprehensive insurance coverage (CGL, auto, cyber, workers’ comp, etc.).
