Description
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking quotes for the purchase and delivery of 36,400 bare-root tree and shrub seedlings. The seedlings are to be delivered to the Volga River State Recreation Area in Fayette, Iowa, on or before April 1, 2026. The quotes must include an all-inclusive total cost in U.S. Dollars, covering all travel, expenses, and related costs. The DNR reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to cancel this solicitation at any time prior to the execution of a written contract.
• The DNR is seeking to purchase the following species of seedlings: White Oak, Bur Oak, Red Oak, Black Oak, Gray Dogwood, Shagbark Hickory, Black Walnut, Ninebark, Eastern White Pine, Buttonbush, Nannyberry, and Plum.
• The total quantity of seedlings required is 36,400.
• The delivery location is the Volga River State Recreation Area, 10255 Ivy Road, Fayette, IA 52142.
• The quotes are due on November 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM CST.
