OPW 54998R: Generator Upgrades - Multiple Facilities (Rebid)

The City of Omaha is seeking bids for the replacement of generators across multiple facilities, a new installation at a single site, and modifications to an existing unit at another. The scope of work includes all necessary actions to deliver fully functional, automated backup power systems, including the procurement of generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS), concrete construction, natural gas piping and boring, and electrical integration. The project requires the submission of an Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) and qualifies for Apprentice utilization (optional). • The project involves multiple sites and requires a thorough understanding of the existing conditions and the ability to work with various stakeholders. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the contract documents and that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained. • The project requires a high level of coordination and communication among the contractor, the city, and other stakeholders to ensure that the work is completed on time and within budget. • The contractor must also ensure that all work is completed in a safe and responsible manner, with minimal disruption to the surrounding areas. • The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bidding process.
