EU SPEC HEAVY EQUIPMENT FOR EUROPE AND AFRICA

The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking information from vendors to provide EU Specification commercial vehicles and equipment in nine product groups, including material handling equipment, sweepers and scrubbers, cranes, construction equipment, and more. The agency is considering two approaches: a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract or three Prime Vendor contracts. The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to determine industry capabilities for the supply of heavy equipment. The scope of work includes providing new heavy equipment machines and vehicles as required by the ordering activities to support direct delivery to the customer. * The nine product groups are: Material Handling Equipment, Sweepers and Scrubbers, Cranes, Construction Equipment, Fire and Emergency Vehicles, Agricultural Equipment, Trucks and Trailers, Snow removal, and Portable Power Equipment. * The agency is considering two approaches: a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract or three Prime Vendor contracts. * The scope of work includes providing new heavy equipment machines and vehicles as required by the ordering activities to support direct delivery to the customer. * The period of performance is five years. * The contract type is Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity. * The distribution is FOB Destination to all US installations within Europe and Africa.
