Description
The 432 Communications Squadron requires the purchase, delivery, and installation of 160 uninterrupted power supply batteries. The contractor shall furnish and install all required components, accessories, and user documentation in accordance with the specifications. The scope of work includes providing new batteries, connecting and testing the function of the overall system after installation, and removing and recycling or disposing of the existing batteries. Key points to consider include:
• The batteries must be DATASAFE 12HX400FR-BL or equal
• The contractor will need to provide new connectors, intercell cables, terminal hardware, and other components
• The contractor will be responsible for removing and recycling or disposing of the existing batteries
• The work must be completed within 60 days of the contract award
• The contractor will need to provide a firm fixed price quote for the work
• The contractor will need to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and waste disposal.
