Carter M Hickman DC/MSC Elevator Service Contract

The Department of General Services is seeking a contractor to provide elevator maintenance and repair services at the Carter M Hickman District Court/Multi-Service Center in Centreville, Maryland. The contract will be for a period of three years, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, supplies, tools, insurance, permits, and equipment necessary to maintain and repair one Dover Corporation elevator. The contractor will also be required to provide a 24-hour emergency call-in service and respond to emergency calls within two hours. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing monthly on-site elevator inspections and maintenance • Responding to regular service calls within four hours • Providing a 24-hour emergency call-in service • Maintaining equipment, machine room, hoist way, and overhead areas in a clean condition • Cooperating with authorities to prevent damage to the property and ensuring the safety of personnel
