IFB # 447 Underground Utility Locating and Marking Services

The Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority (RWSA) seeks qualified firms to perform underground utility locating and marking services for its water and sewer infrastructure across Albemarle County and the City of Charlottesville. This work supports the maintenance, repair, and expansion of raw and treated water pipelines, sewer lines, storage facilities, and pumping stations, ensuring safe excavation and compliance with utility regulations. • Scope includes locating existing water and sewer utilities, marking them per industry standards, and providing documentation of findings. • Services are required for both raw water and treated water piping, as well as sewer conveyance assets owned or operated by RWSA. • Bids must be submitted by September 3, 2026; a non‑mandatory pre‑bid meeting is scheduled for August 12, 2026.
