Description
The Texas Department of Agriculture is seeking a proposal to operate a 24/7 toll-free crisis hotline dedicated to the agricultural industry, providing quality mental health education and resources to Texas farmers and agriculture workers. The selected contractor will be responsible for answering calls, providing resources, and referring callers for further mental health counseling. The contractor will also be required to provide Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) trainings and Farm Response training to healthcare professionals. The goal of this solicitation is to promote mental wellness and prevent suicide among Texas farmers and agriculture workers.
