Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is seeking a sole source contractor to provide engineering, technical, and fabrication services for the Integrated Communications System (ICS) used onboard Virginia and Columbia Class Submarines. The contractor will be responsible for investigating and resolving problems caused by obsolete items, designing and fabricating replacement parts, and testing and evaluating the System. The contractor will also provide training and technical support to the Government. The key areas of work include:
• Engineering, technical, and fabrication services for the ICS
• Investigation and resolution of problems caused by obsolete items
• Design and fabrication of replacement parts
• Testing and evaluation of the System
• Training and technical support to the Government
• Compliance with various military standards and regulations, including MIL-STD-1399C, MIL-STD-31000B, and NAVSEA S9070-AA-MME-010/SSN/SSBN.
