Description
The Palm Beach County Department of Airports is soliciting bids for the expansion of the existing airfield electrical vault at President Donald J. Trump International Airport. The project adds approximately 2,500 sq ft to the vault, includes interior renovation, roof replacement, upgrades to the HVAC and fire‑protection systems, and increases electrical capacity. Additional work involves relocating regulators, the ALCMS control system, fiber‑optic and power cabling, and an optional replacement of the standby emergency generator. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; all work must comply with federal, state and local regulations, including Davis‑Bacon, Buy‑America, and DBE requirements. Bidders must be properly licensed in Florida and provide a bid bond equal to 5 % of the bid price.
